What people have experienced

As people come out of their relaxed state of hypnosis some comment that they feel great and energetic.  However it is not until they are in specific situations that they are able to test their responses to treatment.  For this reason, I always encourage a follow up phone call so we can discuss the changes the hypnotherapy has brought about in their lives.

These are some of the comments made by clients in their follow up sessions or in phone calls:
  1. I have had a number of sessions with Maggie and am amazed at the difference they have made.  I feel more confident in myself and am now able to stand up in front of a group of people without my hands shaking feeling sick in the stomach.  I was doubtful at first if it had worked as I didn't feel any different but as soon as I stood in front of a group I just became really calm and able to talk with confidence.
  2. For the first time in years I can now walk past that chocolate aisle in the supermarket and not want to buy anything.
  3. Thank you so much for your help.  I am now sleeping again and feel so much better.
  4. I really didn't think it was going to work but I have had no pain now for over 3 weeks.  It only came back because I went to the gym and did too much.
  5. Well I've stopped smoking and haven't really had any cravings.  Hypnotherapy has just made so much difference.
Hypnotherapy works on those very deep levels of the mind - the areas that are beyond rational thought.  When it comes to changing behaviours or ways of feeling about an issue, it generally feels like it is part of you.  You will not hear my voice 'talking' to you when confronted by your area of concern.  It is just feels like something you've always done.

When realising the ease with the change many clients wonder why they didn't do something about their issue a long time ago.  Readiness is a key element in hypnotherapy.  For hypnotherapy to be effective you need to be ready to let go of the habit or complaint and embrace life without that extra weight, as a non-smoker or without pain.  My job is to ensure you do this with ease.  Yours is to turn up keen to bring about those changes you'd like to see in your life.
